Tested & Confidence (explained) →
Going from boring thank you pages to creating viral loops for my landing pages . . . was one of these things that when you hear about
- you understand it
- you see how incredibly well it works
You do it everywhere you can.
Thank you pages are one of the most important steps in your funnel.
Yet very few entrepreneurs take the time to create a good one.
The beginner’s mind goes like this
“Lead signed up, job done. Next one!!”
This is the worst mentality to have about lead generation or client acquisition.
Getting new clients is hard.
Multiplying the ones you have is easier.
(if you have a great product)
Thank you pages give you another chance to nurture your client relationship.
And I mean it
Do more with your visitor’s eyeballs.
For example,
Number 1 action.
Check your email inbox.
You want your lead to open your email.
This “expected behavior” combined with a direct ask + inability to leave the page will “force” everyone to go to their inboxes.
And this thing not only improves your email IP deliverability . . .
. . . but it gives you a chance to have another touch point with your reader and become personal.
PRO TIP
Segment your big email list into smaller chunks.
Then, send personalized emails to these groups of people.
MorningBrew breaks its massive email list into smaller groups and this helps them achieve an average open rate of 40%.
Dividing big lists into chunks of 200 – 1000 people works very well.
Number 2 action.
Share with your friends.
You want to make the most out of your traffic.
This is how you go from losing money from your advertising efforts . . .
. . . to becoming profitable.
Who doesn’t want a better ROAS?
I sure do.
If 1 out of 5 people refers a new subscriber, you’ve not only just reduced your CAC by 20%. . . but
That’s 1 new lead . . . without spending an extra dime on ads!
Good job. 👏
PRO TIPS
1. Thank you page should be a pop-up or a page without logo / header / footer.
- one screen size
- inability of closing
- inability of scrolling
2. If you spend some time to create an incentive for sharing . . . You can get an even better result.
If you want to focus your campaign 100% on (referral-ask) I advise to take out the (check-email-ask)
This will increase conversion, but decrease engagement with your email.
Personally, for a thank you page I prefer the extra engagement. (check-email-ask)
Implement this thing in your business and send me a DM with the results.
